Restaurante Summer Salvador Allende

I went with a friend. It was a relaxed, casual environment. Yes, there are places that have good food cheaper. But we chose this place, had a great time .The service was good. We took some of our food home for the next day and it was even better then... We didn't get charged $6.00 for tartar sauce, but if we had, I would have changed my review dramatically. No one should ever be charged for condiments, especially tartar sauce which is basically mayo, pickles, a little onions and when I make it a minced shallot. Yes the restaurants in Nicaragua put a 10% tip on the bill that's shared with all the workers including the kitchen...I always tip on top of that, according to the service... If the prices are high, look at the menu before ordering...Just order an appetizer, which is fun...we very often eat a little here and a little there, and just enjoy the whole variety of options...I would definitely eat there again...it was good...Not the greatest, but still good and a fun time.

I visited Summer's in Managua, Nicaragua, and unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the food. Despite the ambiance and service being decent, the quality of the food did not match the relatively high price. I found that the dishes were lacking in flavor and creativity, especially considering the cost. Compared to other restaurants in the area, Summer's seemed overpriced for what they offered. I believe you can find better-tasting food at more affordable prices elsewhere. It's disappointing when a dining experience doesn't live up to expectations, especially when you're paying a premium for it. I would recommend exploring other restaurants in Managua that offer a better balance of taste and value. While Summer's may have its appeal for some, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. Overall, my experience at Summer's left me feeling like I could have enjoyed a more satisfying meal at a different establishment for a lower price.

I really enjoyed my time here. My lobster was exquisite. There's live music and the singers were great to listen to, coupled with fast and courteous service with a nice view of the lake

It was the recommended seafood restaurant for Puerto Salvador Allende which is a huge concrete walkway with a marina surrounding the area. They are known for lobster and fried fresh pargo!
